Refund Policy

Effective Date: 17 March 2026

Your purchase of any products offered on this site is subject to this Refund Policy and our Shipping Policy. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them.

Returns

All sales are final. As a signed, numbered limited edition, Down Burrow Lane cannot be returned on the basis of change of mind or change of circumstance. This includes all bundle purchases.

Defective or Damaged Items

Returns are accepted only where a genuine manufacturing or transit defect is present. Please open and inspect your copy within 24 hours of delivery. If you believe your copy arrived damaged or faulty, you must inform us as soon as possible and no later than 7 days from delivery by emailing admin@morpurgo1976.com with your order number and photographic evidence. Failure to promptly report any issues may result in you losing any remedy.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process any refund due as soon as possible. Where a defect is confirmed, we will offer a replacement (subject to availability) or a full refund. Refunds are made using the same method originally used to pay for your purchase.

Minor natural variation in materials, paper or finish does not constitute a defect.

Event Tickets

Event tickets within bundle purchases are non-refundable except where an event is cancelled by us, in which case the ticket value will be refunded. In the event of postponement, we will endeavour to offer an alternative date where possible, but cannot guarantee rescheduling.

In exceptional circumstances, we may at our sole discretion consider a refund of the ticket value for guests unable to attend. Any such refund applies to the ticket element only — the book will be dispatched to you by post. Requests must be made in writing to admin@morpurgo1976.com in advance of the event date.

The book element of any bundle remains non-refundable in all circumstances, unless due to defect as outlined above.

Product Information

Whilst we have taken reasonable steps to depict our products as accurately as possible through images on the site, what you see on screen will depend on your monitor and may not exactly reflect the actual detailing of a product when you receive it.

Our Liability

Nothing in this policy shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that by law may not be limited or excluded. Subject to this, our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the relevant product, and is limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable.

We will not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
